Listing is free to start.
Show us your birds, your gate and your vaccination certificate.
We introduce you to buyers looking for exactly what you sell.
You pay an introduction fee only after you confirm that you can supply a matched order. We tell you the amount privately on WhatsApp before you confirm.

PRODUCE MARKET: PILOT

Sell potatoes and maize straight to verified buyers.

Middlemen often decide the price and the bag size. PearlOps introduces checked sellers to checked buyers, so you agree the price with each other. We are starting with potatoes from Kinangop in Nyandarua, and maize from Uasin Gishu and Trans Nzoia.

For sellers

List your bags, your price and the date they are ready, in a short form in English or Swahili.
Show proof: photos, a short video, your own moisture and aflatoxin readings with a photo of the machine, and a reference.
Be introduced to buyers who need exactly your crop and grade, and collect at your farm gate.
You set the price. The buyer inspects and weighs, then pays you directly by M-PESA.

For buyers

Tell us the crop, the grade, how many bags and the date you need them.
Buy from sellers whose proof has been checked. Buyers are checked too, with an ID or business registration.
You collect the produce yourself, inspect and weigh it before you pay, and pay the seller by M-PESA.
Hotels, schools, retailers, millers and feed buyers are welcome.

How a produce deal works

List or request
The seller lists the produce. The buyer says what they need.

We check both sides
Proof from the seller, identity from the buyer. Nothing is shown until it is checked.

We introduce you
A small introduction fee applies only after a match, and we tell you the amount before you commit. Then you get each other's contact.
4
You close the deal
The buyer collects, inspects and weighs, then pays the seller directly.

How we check a seller

1. The M-PESA name matches the seller's name
2. A call to a reference
3. A photo and a short video of the actual produce, with today's date
4. A map pin where the produce is
5. Moisture and aflatoxin readings, with a photo of the machine
No proof, no listing.

Grades you can read

Every maize listing shows its test readings and the date of the test, and a grade based on them: food grade, or feed grade for animal feed only. Potatoes are sold by size, in 50 kg bags.

The readings are the seller's own. Buyers test again before paying. A grade is a guide, not a safety guarantee.

EGGS

Eggs, sold and bought directly.

Whether you keep layers or need eggs every week, tell us what you have or what you need. PearlOps looks for your match and introduces you on WhatsApp. Hotels, shops, vendors, bakeries and farms are all welcome.

Tell us your egg type, how many trays you can supply each week, your sizes and your price.
Add your county, village and the date you can start supplying.
We look for a buyer and introduce you on WhatsApp.

Cows, sold and bought with checks.

Dairy cows, in-calf heifers, calves, bulls and beef animals. Tell us what you have or what you need. PearlOps checks the listing and introduces you on WhatsApp.

For cattle sellers

Tell us the animal, breed, age, number and your price. For milking cows, add the litres per day.
Add clear photos of the animal and, if you can, of the ear tag.
We look for a buyer and introduce you on WhatsApp.

Your privacy and your safety
Your location and photos are used only by PearlOps to verify your listing. We never share them with any buyer, seller or other person, so nobody can use them to find your farm.
Always see the animal before you pay. Ask for the vaccination and health papers. Moving cattle needs a livestock movement permit from your county vet office.

Checked before shown

Every hatchery is reviewed by our team before any buyer sees it. A listing without proof is not shown.

Your records stay yours

You agree before you join, and you can reply STOP at any time. Records are shared with others only if you say yes.

Pay safely

PearlOps will never ask you to send money to a personal number. Payment details come only in our official message. If anyone asks for money in another way, do not pay, and call us first.

Five signs a chick seller may not be real

1. No live photo or video from today.
2. They will not show a photo with today's date on paper.
3. They refuse a visit or a video call.
4. They want all the money first, to a personal number.
5. The price is far below everyone else's.
One sign is a warning. Two or more, walk away.

Buying or selling produce safely

1. Check the seller's test readings and the date of the test.
2. Inspect and weigh the produce before you pay.
3. Pay by M-PESA only to the name registered on the seller's line.
4. Do not pay a deposit to anyone who has not shown proof.
5. Potatoes are sold in 50 kg bags. Larger bags are not allowed.
PearlOps does not carry, store or insure produce, and does not hold your money.
